Biography
Scott obtained his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2007.
Following graduation, Scott joined LMCHP as an associate attorney. Scott was elevated to Partner in January 2015. His practice focuses primarily on Federal and State tax controversy matters where he represents individuals and businesses in audits, appeals, administrative procedures, and in various State and Federal Courts. Scott assists the firm’s tax clientele in complying with a dizzying array of tax laws and in resolving contentious disputes.
Scott has published articles in the area of Federal tax controversy and was selected as a Rising Star in the 2016 edition of Maryland Super Lawyer’s magazine. He is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Tax Section and serves on the Tax Section Council.
Scott’s practice also includes real estate litigation and general business and civil litigation matters. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland.
